The 2019-2020 school year has brought us many changes in education. With our world constantly changing, we make the choice of how we look at these changes. I challenge you to look at these changes as an opportunity to learn new things and widen your minds. I am also learning how to evolve in this new techie world. I have updated my mind and continue to learn fresh, new ways to provide services to my students and families. I am including texting and video appointments in my new bag of tricks. If you would like to grow with me, download Google Duo from your App Store to your phone, tablet, laptop or computer. It’s a fun, easy app that lets us video chat, works well with Apple or Android, and I find it less complicated than FaceTime.
I have also included an easy way to get an appointment. On my homepage, under my schedule, you will see an Appointment Maker. This will immediately email me that you have requested an appointment. That way I can provide services to you and your child/children as you need them.
I am also working on providing social skills lessons videos, where I read some recommended books to your child/children. Then, you can follow-up by asking them questions and having discussions about what they have learned.
We are all a part of this new world together. Let’s be in this new team together. We both want the best education and growth for your child. This includes teaching them life lessons, how to live with each other, and ways to cope with their own emotions and struggles.
I love my families and look forward to taking this journey with you and your child/children! Can’t wait to visit with you! Please contact me. 🙂
